1 - 'Laws of the Game Made Easy' - an older, pieced-together, cartoon of the Laws of the game ... a little out of date but unfortunately
               the best 'entry-level' information available
          2 - Hampton Soccer Club's Referee Program 'Referee-in-Training Handbook' - a personalized guide to our training program for children
               interested in learning to referee soccer
          3 - online, open-book quiz  - to be finished by 3/28 (25 questions / 30 min +/-)

Two short clips of an AR at a recent Riverhounds game.  You will see how he stays even with the 2nd to last defender (white).  Note his 'mechanics': shoulders square to the field when not running; 'crabbing' when moving slowly / short distance; flag down to side and on the inside (toward field) when running

2017

RIT  TRAINING  FOR  FALL  2017  (RIT training is conducted once a year in the Fall for the Fall and Spring seasons)
     Thursday, Aug. 31        6:30pm to 7:30pm          Location:  HHS LGI Lab         *NEW* RIT Candidate classroom training   
     Thursday, Aug. 31        7:30pm to 8:15pm          Location:  HHS LGI Lab          RIT 'call-up' training
     Thursday, Aug. 31        8:00pm to 8:30pm          Location:  HHS LGI Lab          RIT Manager meeting (overlap w/ call-up)
     Saturday,  Sept. 9        8:15am to 9:00am*          Location:  Main Field            *NEW*  RIT Candidate on-field training (1 hour before games)

     *PLEASE  NOTE:  Depending on the number of games, RIT candidates may be assigned to one of their two required 'shadow' assignments immediately after the on-field            training which means they would be finished at approx 10:15am


     Please arrive early / on-time so the schedule can maintained; bring paper and pencil / pen
 
          *NEW*  RIT candidates need to register here by midnight August 18:  NEW - REGISTRATION  (closed)
          *RETURNING*  RITs please fill out the 'sign-in' form so we know if you are available for the Fall season (regardless of whether you are                coming to the 'call-up' training (no registration required for that just show up on 8/31 with paper and pencil):  RETURNING - Sign-in

          USSF Referees who are High School Juniors or Seniors may apply to be RIT managers - APPLICATION (closed)
