While there is a point / playoff system in place, this is meant to be a friendly competition!
Run, play soccer - have fun!
Interested players will sign-up via a form, teams will be formed; coaches
and colors assigned - each team can be creative representing their color
RULES (Nov. 4, 2023):
1. 4v4, no goalies
2. Sub on the fly (tag at the touchline)
3. No goals scored from past midline
4. No goals scored from kick-ins
5. Midline is the build out line – build-out rules associated to goal kicks apply
6. No Offsides
7. Kick ins on sideline
8. Goal kick is from 3 paces off end line
9. Use pop up goals
10. All other basic laws of the game apply
11. No heading
12. Captains will pick 1 or 2 to determine who starts with ball facing entrance. Switch at half time.
13. Each game starts and ends on a horn signal.
14. The two girl teams with the most points based on wins for 3 points, tie for 1 point, and 0 for a loss will play in the final game.
15. The top two boy teams from each bracket will advance to the semi-final. Then the winners of each semi-final will advance to the final match.
Points scoring:
Win- 3 points
Tie- 1 point
Loss- 0 points
Tie Breaker Rules:
1. Head to head
2. Goal differential
3. Goals against
4. Goals for Final game
In the event of a tie, one 8-minute overtime will be played. First goal wins. One player from each team will be removed every 2 minutes after the initial 8-min overtime and at a stoppage until the game is 1v1.
