While there is a point / playoff system in place, this is meant to be a friendly competition!
Run, play soccer - have fun!
Interested players will sign-up via a form, teams will be formed; coaches
and colors assigned - each team can be creative representing their color
RULES (Nov. 2025):
1. 4v4, no goalies
2. 4x6 pop-up goals
3. Futsal balls
4. 15 minute games; 5 minutes between games
5. First team listed on schedule gets the kick-off
6. Each game starts and ends on horn signal; ball is live on horn signal (can start if other team not in place)
7. Sub on-the-fly (tag at touchline)
8. All kick-offs and re-starts are indirect kicks; restarts from touchline are indirect kick-ins (no throw-ins; no goals scored from kick-ins)
9. Goal kick is taken from 6 ft off the end line
10. Opposing team must be 10 ft from ball on kick-offs
11. No goals may be scored from past mid-line - indirect kick restart at mid-line for defending team
12. Mid-line is the build-out line - build-out rules associated with goal kicks apply for all ages
a. opposing team may pressure the ball once a second touch has occurred
b. if the opposing team pressures the ball too early then the kicking team will be awarded an indirect kick from the mid-line
13. No offside
14. No heading
15. No Physical Play! No slide tackling. This format is to encourage foot skills not physical play.
16. Defenders cannot just stand on goal-line like a goalie (coaches should monitor)
17. All other basic Laws of the Game apply
