Welcome to the Fall season! A few news items as we prepare to start September 7 and 8...
LAST REGISTRATION OPPORTUNITY: Registration will open one last time Aug. 22 to 25 for late registrations. Registrations will only be accepted for teams that have roster space. Please see the REGISTRATION page for more information.
PLAYER SAFETY: Please be advised that jewelry is not permitted during practices and games - this includes earrings. Please see the POLICIES page for more information.
PARENT 'ORIENTATION' / SOCCER 101 MEETING: On Tuesday, August 27 at 7pm, (location TBA) the Club will be hosting two 30 minute, back-to-back meetings for parents. The 'Orientation' meeting will be for parents interested in learning about the Club and the path from u6 to HTSD soccer opportunities; The second meeting, 'Soccer 101' will give an overview of the game from basic rules, skills, terminology and culture of the 'beautiful game'
FIELD DAY / EQUIPMENT SWAP: Saturday, August 31 at 9am the Club will have a field set-up day and equipment swap. Volunteers are needed to help get goals in place and complete misc. task for the start of the season. Please meet at the equipment / shed; equipment swap will be in front of the concession stand
COACH / REF MEETING: A quick, mandatory coaches and referee meeting will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 7:30. (location TBA) Topics to include: expectations, communication, de-escalation, first aid
FUNDRAISER: The Club will be holding a fundraiser at the new Hampton Chipotle on Saturday, September 28 - more information to follow.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: The Hampton Soccer Club is a 100% volunteer run organization. We are always seeking helpers in all areas of the Club. Please see the VOLUNTEERS page for more information.
